Ayurveda Diagnosis and the Mathematics it works around with

SROTAS is in simple translation meaning - source

This source can be of a function or a produce,

Ayurveda considers 13 of such sources in its treatise and they can be mapped against modern medicine's physiological systems. 

Eg: Mutravaha Srotas talks about the process, reasons and method and the organ of urination. 

Similarly Annavaha Srotas talks about the complete process of Digestion, Absorption, Assimilation which is metabolism.

Similarly other Srotas.

The most interesting is Majjavaha Srotas which talks about modern day Cell division, maturation and tissue formation and differentiation.

This also covers cancers; and all and any other conditions.

Diseases / Disorders here in all these conditions have been considered in only 2 modes - increased or reduced activity.

There interactions among other srotas has also been discussed. 

THE MACROSCOPIC VIEW

The macroscopic picture here thus considering 13 as a number (n) suggests the following permutations possible.

SET(A)

Permutations, nPr = 13!(13 - 13)!= 6,227,020,800

Combinations, nCr = 13!13! × (13 - 13)!= 1

THE MICROSCOPIC VIEW

At the microscopic level there are further 2 more sets internally and 2 more sets externally to be added to give a completely huge array of permutations when those interations happen all together.

That to say will give - 

SET (B & C)

Permutations, nPr = 6!(6 - 6)! = 720 (internally of 6 attributes of vata, pitta, kapha, satva, rajas, tamas) both internally and externally

Combinations, nCr = 6!6! × (6 - 6)! = 1

7 environmental factors affecting both internal and external dynamic of the 6 attributes

SET (D & E)

Permutations, nPr = 7!(7 - 7)! = 5,040

Combinations, nCr = 7!7! × (7 - 7)! = 1

THE BROADER & FINER INTERACTIONS

Thereafter the interactions among these 5 different sets will give - 

120 different permutations or can say classifications of interactions

Permutations, nPr = 5!(5 - 5)! = 120

Combinations, nCr = 5!5! × (5 - 5)! = 1

The 120 Interactions are a result of interactions of - 

6,227,020,800, 720(i) [internal], 720(e) [external],

5040 (i) [internal] and 5040 (i) [external] permutations interacting among them.

THE MATHEMATICAL CONCLUSION - 

This covers a whole expanse of possible reasons for any diseases or disorders - genetic, metabolic, evironmental or any.

The mathematical and statistical idea of Ayurveda is never discussed and that is the problem.
